Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 September 2026
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information Bizora (the "Platform") processes when you visit public pages, register an account, or use the Business, Customer or Super Admin portals. It also covers how the businesses listed on the platform receive and use the enquiries you send them.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, phone and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
- Business information — the details you enter about your business, including category, description, contact details, logo and cover images, listings, offers and website settings.
- Interactions — enquiries, orders, reviews and support messages you send through the platform, including your contact details where you provide them.
- Payment records — for paid plans we record the amount, currency, payment method, your reference/UTR id and the proof image you submit for manual verification. We do not store card numbers or banking credentials.
- Technical data — server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, pages visited) and the cookies described in our Cookie Settings.
How we use information
- To operate your account, provide the portals, and deliver the features included in your subscription.
- To run the business review/approval workflow and to verify payments before subscriptions activate.
- To display approved businesses in the public directory and route customer enquiries and orders to the correct business.
- To notify you about activity relevant to your account (enquiries, reviews, subscription changes).
- To improve and secure the platform, and to respond to support requests.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only where it is part of the service:
- Enquiries and orders you send to a business are shared with that business so it can respond to you.
- Business profiles and approved public websites are visible to the public, as you chose when publishing.
- Platform administrators can see account, business, subscription and payment records to operate and support the platform.
- We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of the platform or its users.
Retention
We keep account and business records while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting or security purposes. Payment and subscription records are retained to maintain accurate financial history. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to those legal retention obligations.
Security
Passwords are stored using a strong one-way hash. Uploads are restricted to allow-listed image types, stored under randomised names, and web servers are configured not to execute scripts in upload folders. Access to each portal is restricted to the signed-in role, and business data is scoped to the business you belong to. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
Your choices and rights
- Profile data — you can review and correct your business profile from the Business Portal.
- Communications — you can unsubscribe or stop using notification features from your account; account-essential notices may still be sent.
- Access, correction, deletion — contact support using the details below; we will respond within a reasonable time.
- Cookies — see the Cookie Settings page for what we set and how to control it in your browser.
Children
The platform is intended for business and adult users. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the higher minimum age where local law requires it). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email slmedia1212@gmail.com or use the Contact Support form. We may update this policy; the effective date above shows when the current version applies.
